The Dream Scientist Competition until November 30

Scientists who have not yet realized their scientific dreams can participate in the “Dream Chemistry Prize” competition organized by the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. You can submit your application before November 30. The winners are waiting for fifteen thousand euros.

Dream Chemistry Award (DCA) competition-aimed at the field of chemistry and the most interesting scientific dream projects in physics, biology, medicine or materials engineering, aimed at far-sighted scientists. The statuette is waiting for the winner of fifteen thousand. The euro and the possibility of spreading the subject of the project.
Professor IPC PAS said: “We want to commend true creative scientists with interesting research ideas, but for various reasons, whether it is technology, economy or the environment, they have no conditions to carry out their projects.” Robert Horst (Robert Hołyst).
This competition is open to scientists from all over the world who are under the age of 36 who defended their doctorate in 2006 or later. The award is only awarded to research projects that have yet to be implemented. However, the jury reserves the right to pay attention to the candidates’ previous scientific achievements when selecting winners.
The condition for accepting applications is that candidates should be nominated by scientists with a doctorate degree or higher and at least 20 years of experience in precision or natural science (calculated from the date of first publication of a scientific work). The deadline for submitting nominations is November 30.
The projects submitted to the competition will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, which is composed of well-known Polish scientists in the fields of chemistry, physics, biology, medicine and materials engineering. The assessors will include Professor Janusz Bujnicki, Professor from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw. Professor Tomasz Dietl from the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Professor Maciej Wojtkowski of the Chemistry Department of Nicolaus Copernicus University is from Karol Grela of the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
